The Spaulding Gallery
This is a cutaway map of a fictional gallery produced in collaboration with Mel Brimfield for her exhibition ‘This is Performance Art’ at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. There is a heavily annotated version somewhere explaining why Gilbert and George are dressed as the Statue of Liberty, what John Lydon is doing snipping a piece off Yoko Ono’s dress and why there are two gentlemen’s penises featured hereon but I can’t find it at present. Original is A2.
